SVDK is Sébastien van der Kwast. He works at the point where code, image and sound overlap. He came up through electronic music and the VJ scene, began programming real-time visuals around 2007 (Pure Data, vvvv, Cinder) and turned to live-coding in 2015 with SuperCollider and Sonic Pi.

He builds his own instruments: performance software, fulldome engines, browser tools. He plays them live with the duo [CRASH SERVER]. His work spans clubs and festivals, planetarium domes, installation and teaching. He also helps run TOPLAP Strasbourg, the city’s live-coding community: open workshops, jams and the Chaos Lab evenings.
